Hajj is the annual pilgrimage every physically and financially able Muslim is required to perform once in a lifetime, taking place over several days in the month of Dhul-Hijjah. It involves standing at Arafah, staying at Mina and Muzdalifah, and the core rites around the Kaaba in Mecca.
Umrah is the "lesser pilgrimage" — shorter, not tied to a specific time of year, and can be performed any month, including multiple times. Many of our clients combine Umrah with a visit to Medina to pray at Masjid an-Nabawi.
Because both involve visas, flights, accommodation in two cities, and group logistics during the busiest travel period of the Islamic calendar, early planning matters. We coordinate all of it as one package rather than leaving you to arrange each piece separately.
Most of our packages include a stay in Medina before or after Mecca, giving pilgrims time at the Prophet's Mosque and the Rawdah.

The core rites of Hajj, in the order they happen. Your group leader will guide you through each step on the ground.
After Fajr, pilgrims travel from Mecca to Mina and spend the day in prayer, with all five daily prayers shortened. The night is spent resting in Mina ahead of Arafat.
The central rite of Hajj. Pilgrims stand at Arafat from midday until sunset in prayer and reflection — missing this invalidates the Hajj entirely. After sunset, the group departs for Muzdalifah.
Maghrib and Isha are prayed together on arrival. Pilgrims rest under the open sky and collect pebbles for the stoning rite before departing for Mina after Fajr.
Pilgrims perform the first stoning (Rami), the sacrifice (Qurbani), and hair cutting/trimming, then travel to Mecca for Tawaf al-Ifadah and Sa'i.
Pilgrims remain in Mina, stoning all three Jamarat each day. Some choose to stay for a 13th day, depending on their group's schedule.
A final circling of the Kaaba before leaving Mecca, performed by pilgrims without a valid exemption, closing out the Hajj.

Saudi Riyal (SAR). Currency exchange is available at the airport and in both cities; we advise carrying some cash alongside cards.
Hot and dry year-round, with intense midday heat. Light, breathable clothing and sun protection are essential, especially during outdoor rites.
Men wear two unstitched white cloths during Hajj/Umrah; women wear modest, loose clothing covering the body, with the face and hands uncovered.
Mecca and Medina are roughly 450km apart — about a 4-5 hour drive, arranged as part of your package.
Saudi Arabia requires proof of certain vaccinations (including meningitis) for pilgrims. We'll guide you through current requirements when you register.
A local SIM or eSIM is recommended on arrival — crowds can make finding your group harder without a working phone.
